I have been in the Human Resources field for 20+ years. I started my HR career in health care and after eleven years moved into public accounting. For nearly nine years as the HR Director for a midsize CPA firm I developed and managed the HR Department and provided HR Consulting to small and midsize, privately held companies.

As the HR Director here at Brightwing my goal is to act as the catalyst, enabling all Brightwingers to be the best employees they can be, contribute to the company’s success and live out our core values each and every day. I’m responsible for providing the employees with policies and programs that support their employment, recognizing and rewarding employees for a job well done and guiding employees growth to achieve their professional goals and greatest potential.

The Core Values at Brightwing align perfectly to the career choice I made a long time ago when I went in to Human Resources. I believed in people and I believed in their potential. I am motivated by the professional support I can offer my colleagues and the ultimate successes that they achieve. Family is everything to me. I am the youngest of nine (I wasn’t the typical spoiled youngest child, just ask my sisters). My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 20 years. We didn’t take after my parents with the large family, just two boys for us. My greatest joy comes from watching them grow into amazing young men. Our oldest is at MSU (Go Green) and our youngest is in high school.
