Tues, September 1 – A2 BrewTech Drinkup (Dominick’s Edition)

Between the A2 New Tech events, we will sometimes host A2 Startup Drinks, AKA “A2 Brewtech Drinkup” events. Come talk startups and entrepreneurship, have some beers, and make new friends!

 

The Ann Arbor New Tech meetup welcomes members from any school, sector, or industry function (e.g. entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, lawyers, marketers, students, bloggers, etc.) interested in local high-tech startups.


 

Tues, September 1 – Innovate Farmingtion – Meet & Talk Technology

innovate farmingtonA chance to explore the WHAT iF! of newer technologies, apps and businesses for those intrigued by what is coming next. This group will hear presentations by local entrepreneurs and inventors deploying newer technologies. Presenters will share business technologies, tools and models which will change the landscape.

 

The Innovate Farmington meet up is open to everyone interested in the technology and business space (e.g. entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, marketers, students etc.). Our goal is to create a community of interest in tech entrepreneurship by studying the implementation of innovative products and services.

In September, we will be hosting Erin Bonahoom, partner at Sadek Bonahoom Legal. The session will be about protecting your brand and business ideas and what it all means: copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and patent rights, including what falls under which category and how you go about protecting the process for ensuring that your brand, work and ideas is protected.

The D-NewTech (DNT) is an organization that provides resources and networking opportunities for the Detroit and SE Michigan startup community. DNT host monthly meetup events that encourages and highlights the entrepreneurship startups in the region.
