How would that change your business?!

texas devopsOne certainty we can all agree on is that business needs are continuously changing, evolving and hence have driven the need for Agile methods for software development. Agile methods allow teams to adapt quickly to change and to deliver the highest value first.

Many organizations, in particular large enterprises, are finding that software development is no longer the bottleneck to delivering value (in the form of feature-rich software) to the end user. Instead, what many have discovered is that inter-departmental / BU processes, cultural conflicts, technical and organization debt all erode Agility by impeding the timely delivery of value.

east dallas networkingEast Dallas Networking was created as a small business networking group specifically for East Dallas business owners.  Our first meeting was held in September of 2008, at which we had four people in attendance, including the two co-founders.  Due to our effectiveness, affordability, and relaxed culture, we’ve grown to a weekly attendance averaging 55-65 invested and fiercely loyal networkers – dedicated to helping one another build their business.  To consistently have attendance at capacity with no attendance requirements whatsoever, we’re obviously doing something right!
